Nobody's mentioned Polymock in a long time...

Does the community still not give a shit? It was always kinda lame. Does anyone play for fun anymore, or is it just a tedious method to get a few marginally useful skills, soon to be forgotten and ignored?

Cant beat some guy with elemental pieces so I dont do it. Not really any fun IMO, skills are okay though i guess.

Polymock was to hard for the average guru'r apparently because their used to be tons of bitch threads about it. I really hope they don't come back.

Polymock is by far one of the easiest things in Guild Wars once you learn how to play it. I don't even use half of the skills in it and can guarantee a win every time.
It's a nice change of pace, especially if I want to screw around and get a few Asura reputation points in the process. Otherwise, once you finish the quest, it's just a timewaster.

It was a cute idea, but unless the "difficulty" of the first few battles were changed a little, it might be worth trying again.
I've always wondered how many people get Polymock pieces from dungeon chests.

Once I got Pain Inverter, I never touched it again -- the rewards are just not worth it. And from experience (titles never being retroactive, etc.) there's little incentive to train or gather pieces in the hopes of future improvements.

only reason i can see to play polymock after getting the asura skills is if anet added gamer points for wins

I think I tried it once, decided I didn't have the patience to learn a skillset that would only be useful in a pointless minigame & nowhere else, haven't bothered since. Has something happened that I should try it again?
slowerpoke
mentioning it doesnt mean it'll get changed

Anyways my point still stands, once there were no more incentives, there was little reason for me to play.
Racthoh
Think I beat the first guy, hated it. I want to have all the skills but can't be bothered to play that stupid mini game just for the summons I'll never use.

No one has mentioned it because it sucks balls.

Polymock:
- Can't use Ursan
- Doesn't give end chest
- Doesn't give a title
Hence: Polymock does not exist.

Gaining reputation in GWEN was supposed to be obtainable by playing minigames (polymock, norn tournament, Leeeeeroy) but turns out they suck balls.

ya i played through the quest but dont even talk to those NPCs anymore. its just not worth it unless you want a distraction. now if they give gamer points not much maybe one per match then me and a lot of other ppl might be interested.

I finished the Polymock quests relatively easily, and sometimes I play for fun while I'm waiting for the guild to get ready for an event or something, but that's mostly it. It's a shame that Polymock pieces don't drop often (or at all from my experience) from dungeon chests, otherwise it might sort of fun collecting/trading/battling like the game it's based off of.
I still wish they'd add a feature to let you battle other players. Watching Polymock tournaments on observer would be sort of hilarious.
