For example, 'Gain entrance to the temple' quest...I think it was..?, where you meet up with Menlo and he joins your party. After his little speech, he will follow your party. I've found that he has a tenancy to get stuck on the guard by the shrine whilst trying to follow your party. There is a wall on the other side, and not enough room to make him follow you in the opposite direction, to become unstuck. I had to restart the quest, and thankfully this time he didn't get stuck.
I've found in a few different places, npc's will get stuck on certain objects/other npc's. I know there is a command for yourself in these situations..but is there an ability to control this for npc's that I'm not aware of, or do you think it would be a good idea to input it into the game?
'Stuck' ability to control npc's

/signed, but not for the situation you mentioned.
I did Tah Temple mission last night and after about the 3rd boss we noticed that Mhenlo wasn't on our radar. We figured he was back at the beginning schmoozing with some girl ghost or something and didn't worry about it. We continued on and ended with masters. Didn't even miss him.
Actually it was nice not having to worry about keeping him alive. Ditto for Togo in Zen Daishun. I rarely see him following the party anymore.
However that dwarf guy that follows us in the Snowman dungeon is always getting himself stuck on a treasure chest and ruining the dungeon. I'd love to be able to unstick him.
