Locked Chests and Grapes

I've been running around for days opening chests, breaking my picks and getting grapes, and I'm getting quite tired of it.

in the interest of making this very common occurrence more of a 'meh' situation than a 'rage' one, I suggest a slight adjustment to the way HM chest drops interact with the lucky/unlucky titles.

Examples:

I open a hard mode chest, my pick breaks but i get a gold. so I get the standard 25 unlucky points.

I open a hard mode chest, I retain my pick and get a gold, so I get double the standard 250 lucky points

I open a hard mode chest, I retain my pick, but get a grape, so I get standard lucky points.

I open a hard mode chest, my pick breaks and I get a grape, so I get double unlucky points

Things like normal tomes would count as grapes gems and would be counted as golds.

of course you can also take a break from this grindfest and come back when you feel more relaxed

BTW: I dont really care about the suggestion, since i dont care about the lucky/unlucky titles, so this is a /whatever for me

I kinda like the idea actually, would be cool to always know that you atleast got some extra unlucky points, this could maybe lower ragequitting a bit.

Don't go for titles myself, but the idea sounds intriguing nonetheless so a /signed from me.

What do you mean with a 'grape'?
A purple uncommon item?

That's correct. I'm quite surprised you haven't heard of it. I hear it a lot from all kinds of places.

Grape = purple
Spinach = green
Orange = gold

Ok, the last two were a joke.

I have been getting what I feel to be more than my fair share of purple drops from a chest (especially in EotN).

Somebody has QQ about this before you. Take it as a way to max your Unlucky title.

I'm with Hawke, how have you never heard that before Mithran? I first heard that term used on the chests in Tombs when it first came out pre-Factions days.

Anyways, /notsigned
Just too much added, unnecessary complication to a system that already works fine.

im getting rather tired of this as well, i even get non-max grapes and golds out it, even golds go towards ID title. Ive stop using my lockpicks, from now on, im selling them, i seem to get a better profit from selling them than using them in the game. In fact im just gonna do some regular killing in the game, which maybe the reason why chests are so crappy, ive gotten more golds from killing reg enemies than chests. Its just sad that lockpicks arent worth like they used to be.
