K dude for starters, save your money. Buy the cheapest Lions Arch armor you can. Save your money till you get to Droknar's Forge. That's the best buy for armor.

If you are still wearing the collector armor from Pre-Searing, then yes, go buy it. Armor at Yak's Bend is only 75gp apiece, or 375gp for all 5 pieces, which is really nothing. Although you can get Wyvern Armor at Lion's Arch, the armor you get at Yak's Bend will be the same armor level and will make it much easier for you to even get to Lion's Arch. Eventually, you'll want to get max armor, so even if you waited to get Wyvern Armor in Lion's Arch, you'll have to replace anyway later.

Proper spelling and grammar are your friends. I am always willing to help, but not when I have to decipher the questions.

The stats for each armor skin are the same - the only difference between wyvern, gladiator, and charr hide armor is the look.

Anyway, if you're still in you armor from pre-searing, I'd get something from Yak's Bend and that should keep you going for a while. If you've got Factions aswell, you can just go over to Kaineng for some max AL stuff.

PS: Fix the spelling.

You can always make a few more plats. Get to Beacons -> pay for a run to Droks -> buy max armor.

I do not recommend that for new players what Lawrence just said... It's better to just play through the game while your new to get a feel for it.

Buying that armor is a good idea. If your playing through GW for the first time I would recomend picking up armor from collectors you find along the way that have higher ratings than what your currently wearing. Try not to spend money on armor untill you can purchase max armor and the best runes/insignia's you can afford.

I would also sugest purchasing a max green sword and axe then customizing them and not wasting money on skins till you A) know exactly what skin you want the most and B) can afford to purchase it with the exact mods you want.

Otherwise just keep playing and have fun

Before looking cool, you need to learn to pwn face. After you've gotten that far it's but a short way to any armour set you want. GET MAXED.

Crom is right: Green weapons (and shields, if you're no hammer guy) are your friend at this time. Cheap (1-2K-ish), maxed, most have decent mods.

There are many desperate sellers in Lion's Arch. Once you get there, you can get a "perfect" green for 500gp.

Also make sure you don't skip any quests that grant you skills as a reward, even if the skill seams to suck it might end up of use for another char or Hero should you purchase Nightfall/GWEN.

"Green" anything just means a unique item. The stats are set, but they are usually max (as long as they don't come from Shing Jea Island or Istan).

Oh my, guru high class....you made my day xD

By the way, as everybody said before just get the Lion's Arch armor (quite cheap) and then change your armor only once you get t Droknar's Forge.

About bonuses on armors.... you can choose those by using insignas, which you can buy from the Rune Trader guy. I suggest you to use a +hp bonus on the whole armor, except for gloves where you could use a StoneFist insigna which is always good. As regarding helmets, buy at least 1 for each attribute so that you can easily change your "build" (your set of skills and such).

As for what regards runes, go with a Superior Absorbtion (hope I typed it well :l ) on the Chest part, a minor rune of axe mastery/swordmanship/hammer mastery/strenght/tactics on the hemet, and of course use the minor rune of axe mastery on the helmet with +1 ineherent axe bonus and so on...

well hope I helped you out a bit, have fun with the game!

An absorption rune is not really necessary anymore, you don't need any more protection against physical damage. Also you left out Vigor runes, you need the best you can afford.

As regarding the armor levels, you can get the same armor level in Ascalon (there are 2 crafters, one has more expensive armor), Yak's Bend and Lion's Arch. As someone said, buy one of these armors, then use a collector's set. In the Maguuma Jungle part of the storyline, there is near max collector armor you should get. After that, save all your money, go through the desert without buying anything, and when you get to Droknar's Forge, feel free to buy new max armor. You shouldn't get Desert's collector armor as collector MAX armor (which is given at the desert and afterabouts) isn't good.

As when you get max armor, get the best Vigor Rune you can afford (usually Major Vigor one), a Minor/major rune for your weapon mastery which should go on the helmet, and a minor strenght rune. Tatics isn't good on these days so as soon you can afford one, buy a strenght shield. Also use Survivor Insignias + vitae runes on the spaces left, usually a warrior should have 600 health without skill boosts (and you shouldn't use skill hp boosts). Some people (like me) like going with a Superior Absorption. This all must be combined with a shield with extra health and an axe/sword with also extra health.
