new stackables

have the following stack. Alot of people have multiple of these cluttering their banks

-Runes
-Insignas
-Upgrades in general
-Green weaponary

Clutter in my band:

Purple dye
Jade Bracelets
Random weapon mods
Party trek items
lunar fortune

Runes and insignia's and Armor sets are the No1 thing cluttering my bank :P

Although stacking armour sounds wierd, an armour storage will be better suited for it.

hmmm...I wonder why EVERYTHING can't stack? Is there really a good reason why not?

semi unique items shouldn't stack. Like gold weapons. But green weapons always have the same stats, runes are always the same. Anything that MUST by the nature of the game be exactly the same in terms of stats, effects, appearance, should stack.

Does my Warriors CUSTOMIZED Victos Axe have the same stats as my Monk's Koss's Victo's Axe? Not all green would be the same, even if it was the same green.

Sundering Bowstring 20/20 is different from a Sundering Bowstring 20/19. How many other mods are there with variations, but the same name? Furious, Vampiric (although much less), Adept, Insightful, Of Mastery, Enchanting, etc., etc., etc.

Runes I can see, as the only variation is between Minor, Major, and Superior. Everything else has too many possible options that would prevent it, or allow for people to find exploits to abuse.

Cannot we just save ourselves a whole load of threads over the next few days/weeks/months/years.

Anet please make everything in the game stack

Because lets be honest here everyone wants different things to stack and the only way to avoid the threads is to go down that rout.

Even then there will be a load of threads asking for the stack limit to be increased.
I'm not against more storage in fact I like the idea I just think we need to cut out all the future threads asking for additional stackable items.

Storing several hundred items of materials would seem to be no harder than storing say several hundred gloves, helmets or even breastplates.

Yes the economy will be ruined ------ Again
Yes players will achieve vast wealth ------ Again
Yes it will be the end of GW as we know it ------ Again

But that's never been a reason to do or not do any other change to the game.

This is suggested at least twice a week, and an overwhelming amount of PvE-whoring players sign it.

The only reason to want to stack these items is to abuse them, lets face facts here. What reason could someone have behind having 250 Superior Absorption Runes besides some kind of abuse?

/signed for runes and insignias to stack with like runes etc. since the same ones will have the same stats (ie sup vigor will always be the same, minor fire will always be the same etc)

/notsigned for weapons of any kind, since they can be different (you can have a gold non-max non inscribable bow, why should that stack with the same skin max gold inscribable bow) ditto with the greens, which could be customized.

Ever thought about how annoying it is to store 4 or 5 the same runes or inscriptions you're saving for your heroes? That eats away your already cramped storage. Whoever mentioned 250 runes? Why would you immediately assume abuse?

offtopic: I'd like an armor storage tab for each character though (perhaps a seperate NPC you can buy in your guildhall that can store up to 5 complete armors for each of yuor characters...)
