Anguishing at the gate of Anguish

My frustration has sparked this comment. I have been languishing at the Gates of Anguish for 3-4 days or so and, for a non-ursan, it has been impossible to latch onto a PUG. I gave it a go with just myself and three heros but my skill level is not sufficient to survive past the first mobs. Any recommendations, other than buying EotN or should I go play in a kiddie pool elsewhere.

I say you do that. For non-EotN users, you can go monking, but still requires you to be rank 8 lightbringer (max). Or you can get a 600/smite monk or a Famine ranger and search for a trio HM Foundry clear/farm. Other than that, I'd say you go to buy EotN, or stick to other areas. It's probably one of the hardest zones in the game without Ursan, and as such, you won't ever find a group. Sometimes there are peeps "trying out" the new zone, which obviously get completely annihilated at the first mob.

I have a question myself btw in this trend...
When norn farming, why wont people accept monks under rank 8 o.0 i mean come on you are GETTING the norn points ....

Because ppl are stupid.... you can farm the Norn points just as fast or faster with a non-ursan *gasp* team. I laugh as there are many many areas now in the game where ppl are spamming lfg ursan mission/bonus. Kinda sad really.

6 ursans and 2 monks AREN*T as effective as 4 ursans, 1 mm and 1 nuker with 2 monks.. trust me.. i rather H/H that one than PUG..

OP, try posting in the PUGs and Grouping thread under Guild Connections and/or check out the offers under GW Helpers List, a sticky in Riverside.

These are people not usually looking for fellow Ursan users.

I tried 4 man ing in one of those area I forgot which one, but those bunch of new margos..

I tried just for the lulz of it.. but ya I can see why it's gonna be frustrating.. that e-denials + that ele.. ^^

the doable way as for now is by Ursan, I refuse to grind for ursan, and it's boring.. so I will stay away from that area ^^
