Spirit's Strength (Derv)

Do any of you guys have a good build for spirit strength on a rit/d Ive heard a lot about how good this build is with a scythe and im eager to try it out.

[aura of holy might][spirit's strength][weapon of aggression][asuran scan][i am the strongest] and 3 optionals.

It makes ludicrously big numbers, but it's a little bit lower in actual DPS than the other builds. It's not unusual to pop autoattacks over 200 damage with this build.

IAS increases your damage quite a bit, synergizing better with spirit's strength. It's also a huge pain in the ass to keep recasting splinter every 5 attacks, which is quite often when you have an AoE weapon.

I remember when I made my first SS rit, I spent so long agonizing whether I wanted Splinter (lots of yellow numbers = win) or Aggression. I ended up picking Aggression because attacking at base speed makes me feel like I'm a car driving at 40kph in a 60 kph on a one way street

I need to unlock Asuran scan.

Attributes would be something like 12+1+1 Spawning, 10 Scythe Mastery (lack in this is made up from SS) and 8+1 channeling.

[asuran scan] is nice but that 2 sec casting time keeps me from using it and since you'll be getting tons of adrenaline from your AoE attacks, why not put it to good use?

Only real time I would consider Asuran Scan is when I'm fighting a dungeon boss with a solid asura title rank
