Ping weapons to show modz/color/skin

If you can ping a build and click on it to see what it all has...They should maybe make it so people can ping weapons too, so you can see there mods, color, skin etc.... it helps when trying to show people builds to fun with weapons sets etc... Or to see what someone has for fun. Thanks.

You already can.

You can't see the colour, nor the specific vairent skin or inherent/inscribable. This feature already exists however, as a ping of 'Furious Handaxe of Fortitude and Tower Shield of Valour'.

well I meant so show a box with the picture of the weapon and mods like in trade window. Thats what I meant.

I would work only in towns and it will say
ex: [Guardian of Legend's Weapon(s)] and you will be able to click on it and see the pic/modz/ etc...

because it's already too hard to understand having the game display it to you in words, you need a picture now?

Dear lord, remember when the template code was added?? and you could ping it in all chat?? soooo many people just spammed frenzy healsig + mending etc....People will just spam their weapons. no more 12 year old epeens please.

I don't see why pinging weapons(or pinging in general) isn't limited yet. Like only once per few minutes.

Along being limited to one ping per weapon every 10 seconds. Color should appear in screen.

And crafter and collector weapons should have different colors.
Yellow for crafted items, and dark blue for collector items and quest rewards.

Then the weapon pinging would be proper.

You can already tell what skin it is and most of the mods from a normal ping, and color in this game is irrelavent. Blues, purples, and golds can all be exactly the same, so showing that is nothing more than e-peen flashing.

I guess the OP has WoW in mind... In trade chat, you can click on the item that is offered and it will show a window with that item, with the skin, mods, etc etc. Much like pinging a skill bar.

Would be nice for trade chat, so you wont have to see people spamming: WTS req9 gold blahdiblah bow 15/50 +30 sundering, inscr, but you only have to click the little link to see the item with the mods.

This would simply be painful for everyone involved.

That would be helpful, as I often see people selling 'gold staff for Necro', but not actually giving an idea of what the stats are.

Also, it's an easy way to check if a person's lying or not.

IMO, they should just remove pinging of weapons completely lol. Fed up of people spamming shit.

Of course, 'special' crafter and quest reward items will remain their current clors when they are green or gold.
