I just cap the SF skill and I have seen you guys talk about perma sin.
Now I know that is involve keeping up the SF skill permanently (hence the name), but what I am confused about is that there are so many build in PvXwiki that uses this skill.

So my question is this, when you guys are talking about perma sin build, what build were you refering to? If you could post it here, it would be much appreciated.

Sorry if this question is kinda lame to some of you.

Thanks!

...As you said yourself there's a bunch of different builds. It's not THE perma SF sin, it's A perma SF sin. Could be talking about any build at any given time. The builds vary.

You should really look at what you say and think for at least a few seconds before you make a thread.

perma SF is using 3 skills and 20% enchantment mod on weapon. to keep up SF all the time, after it is up you can use any skills you please.

the Perma SF chain is either with A/E or A/Me
A/E version: SF+DP+GoS
A/Me version: SF+DP+AE
both achieve the same results(perma SF) the only difference is the damage capabilities, personally I think A/E gives more damage versatility however you must have EotN for GoS

As for the SF build you want, it would all depend on the area you plan on farming as to the builds you might use. If you look at the builds/forum posts, they usually say where that particular build is useful. Hope that helps.

A/E is a lot easier to learn in my opinion.

Best way to farm on a sin atm is in the UW with the following build:

[build=OwZToY/85R6zj0Z4CkhvYYMBBA]

Use a Sup vigor rune, sup shadow arts, rest can be attunement/Radiant.
Have thew following weapon sets:
1)fiery spear of enchanting (+5 energy) with a fire focus (20/20)
2)A high health weapon set
3)A vampiric weapon set to keep you HP below 100 to keep the mindblades aggro'ed on you.
4)A long or flat bow for pulling

You can watch 2 videos of the run using a similar build at http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10293844.

On average, you will get roughly 3-6 ectos a run. I recommend doing it in NM if you're just going for ectos or HM if you also want golds and or warrior and mesmer tomes. in about 3-5 runs, you'll have enough to sell for 100k in Spamadan.

I hope SF gets the nerf bat soon.

Admittedly the A/E parties in ToA have brought the lol but hard earned Sin titles just got uber-ganked.

Funny how all the Sin haters have been quite as of late.

Meh...GW.

Beyond SF, DP, GoS and a 20% enchanting mod, what build you use depends on what you're farming.

For doign the Chaos Plains, I agree that this build is the best:

Now, we might question why they chose to do this, but I think it's pretty clear that they aren't going to go "oops, accidentally made farming too easy, better change it back."

Totally agree man and realistically I don't expect to see any change happening either.

Tbh I'm not personally fussed as I've never really been into the grind of farming and have never been overly cash/title/loot motivated but a few of my guildies are pretty peeved at the obvious end result of many PvE titles and high end loot having there requirements and/or cost effectively cut by 50% or more.

Even though I'm not into the title system I can sympathize and understand why many of those who grinded for so long to max certain titles, Drunkard, Wisdom, Sweet Tooth, etc, or get certain gear are a bit miffed they have suddenly been made so much easier to financially attain via one skill update.

I'm just glad I'm not one of them.

As to "why" seeing as GW2 is around the corner this is a great way to flog a dead horse imo and again it brings the lol to see all those Sins running around atm.
