I've noticed an increasing number of my posts in this forum are well.....not here a while after I post them.
Is this because they've been deleted by mods? An increasing number of them have been dissapearing, specifically in controversial threads (such as the open letter to anet). I have read the rules, and the only one I come close to breaking is "Flaming and trolling", but I the rules what is specified as a Flame or toll is not very clear.
so my main question is- Is calling something a rant count as a flame or troll post? Or is examining the point of view of the OP in my reply trolling?
below is the rule on flameing and trolling. At this point I'm begining to think that someone just doesn't agree with me.
3. No Flaming/Trolling
Flaming is the act of posting messages that are deliberately hostile and insulting. A troll is a person who posts inflammatory messages intended to cause a disruption in discourse and to provoke other members into hostility.
We encourage discussion and healthy debate, and personal attacks are not warranted in either. If you cannot be respectful to others, then don't be surprised if those in charge are not respectful of your continued privilege to post.
The posting of Private Messages between users or a user and moderator will result in a ban.
Question about deleting posts

Looking through your post history, barely any posts have been deleted the past few weeks. Somehow you think you're posting more than you do.
What constitutes a flaming or trolling post is ultimately the moderators' decision. If the post contains nothing constructive, it will probably be deleted.

I don't know if I can bring another person's thread up here, but I'm here to ask a similar question.
I can understand why a few of my previous were deleted, but I had one recently on the farming forum. I confirmed that you retained your money spent on the run and asked if anyone else was getting a certain amount of drops. Rubies to be precise.
I just find it a tad peculiar that it was deleted, as it wasn't trolling and it wasn't flamebait. Was it?

There are three main categories of deleted posts:
-Your post breaks the rules.
-Your post refers to another post which broke the rules and is now deleted.
-Inde hates you/your post.
If it's not the first or the third, then it's the second. Not every post deletion should be taken personally.
I'm closing this because arguing the merits of keeping a specific post is not for public discussion as per the rules - PM a moderator.
