Where do i go for 1v1 everyone i talk to says 1v1 is a HB fight.
Is there no simple 1 Character v 1 Character with no heros?

The only means of having a 1vs1 fight is a Scrimage inside your Guild Hall.
Once the scrimage starts both players exit thier hall and meet in a NPC free zone for the fight.
GuildWars has no real reason for a 1vs1 fight so they never implimented anything in PvP to reflect it.
GW is a team based game.

You could say that Hero Battles is 1 VS 1. Because you play without human teammates and are completely in control over your own teams decissions.

Hero Battles is 1v1, since there's only 1 player behind the controls.
Surely, you get some AI help on 3 of the characters (the heroes) but it's still 1 person versus another person.
