+5 energy Shield

Just saw one of these, anyone know much about them or their expected worth?

they aren't worth anything other than the 15 gold the merchant will give you for it. Its a cheap collector's item so it isnt like thay are rare, and it isnt max damage nor can it be modified. So if you actually paid for the thing, you got ripped off.

yeah i mean, a caster wouldnt need a +5e +30hp wep AND a +5e and a +30health shield. that would be totally stupid

don't spam spells so much. And a normal shield gives you more armor, hp and a +10 vs X. Its not worth it.

If you want a defensive set get a good shield.

If you want energy and defense get a +5 armour focus item. You'll be alot better of with full energy and 5 armour than 5 energy and 6 armour. As a caster you can also put +10 armour on a staff.

Just be aware there are other (better) options.

What Covah and odly said for defensive set. And if you have the shit kicked out of you with no monk and nothing is dying, I don't think anything can save you at that moment.

Without tactics, this shield gives 3 armor. A focus can give 5 armor, and more energy. No use for this shield.
