Does the treasures get worse everytime you open it? The first trip around was golds. The second trip around did not even give max purples

From what's come up from the many discussions and analysis' of this is: Yes. It sucks, but that seems to be the truth of it.

its true, you can only get so many golds from each one, i think maybe 5 trips, then its always purple, not to mention you must wait like 31 days to open it again

The treasures haven't been any worse for me, every month or so I make a run on em all with all my chars and i always get golds with a few grapes mixed in, been doin it for months and months.

My main two characters haven't opened them for over 4 months, and when I did it all they got was purples and a small fraction of the original gold. Suffice to say, their time of opening them has come to an end.
It would appear to me that the reward for opening them diminishes over time. They've both opened them every month since they've been able to (until I took my break and then came back, hence the over 4 months since last I opened them).

First time for each one with a character, you get gold drop and high cash. After that it seems to become purple with half as much cash. Except I can still get golds from the Istan island ones with my characters who haven't been to mainland.

the first time you open them the LIKELIHOOD of getting gold is the highest-----I have 2 characters who on the FIRST opening got purples! Yeah neither of them have bothered to try opening them again (did it a 2nd time and purples again...so gave up on those 2)....
Now I have 2 characters that have yet to finish nf and they still get good stuff from the treasures.
