Yeah, I'm not talking about any skills ([ward of stability], [Balanced stance] or[dolyak signet] for example) that prevent knockdown, just large monsters that can't be knocked down.

Helping my friends through THK was a pain just due to giant stomp spamming. And no, I wasn't using Ursan.

While we are at it though, why don't we buff bleeding. Because whenever I bring sever artery/crippling slash + gash to a place with enemies that are immune to bleeding, I can't Deep Wound them. Buff up bleeding when fighting these foes to compensate that.

so a KD that knocks down a smaller foe should have an effect on a larger one? No. Try running with a shield into a rhino. The only reaction you will get is a gore and the rhino stomping your corpse into the ground. KD isn't like an interrupt. It's a use of force. spells and skills that interrupt don't necessarily knock down.
/agree with sage on this one. Like PvE needs more stuff to make it ridiculous.
/signed on OP's suggestion to close thread.

And actually yes, if you hit the Rhino in the head very hard I am sure you could stun it for a second, or at least distract it.

Stop with the logic because it's a game...if Anet says that you cannot KD something, then you can't (unless it's a bug).
Oh and forgive me if I misunderstood but what you are saying is that monsters that cannot be knockdown should be interrupted by something that causes a KD but the same thing shouldn't apply to those that have an anti-KD skill ?

Anyways, it is a stupid mechanic. Not sure what Ursan has to do with anything - I'd never use a warrior build without a KD, in both PvE and PvP.
Non-fleshy stuff that can't bleed is also stupid.....Sever artery is already bad enough as it is.
They probably did it so it doesn't ruin the experience for silly people that like to roleplay.
