P/d?
Ammo
Im new to paragon, but a friend of mine is a P/D and told me it was a good combo. She uses her spear but with a few dervish attack skills, and she uses certain enchantments for AoE damage. Ive seen her fight in PvE and it looks really good, but i wanted more opinions before i chose my secondary as dervish.
And, if you know any good P/D builds, could you post them?

P/W is the general PvE combo, it allows you to use Save Yourselves, and take advantage of the Paragons superior adrenal gain skills and emanagement with Leadership.

I was thinking about making a build using some of these skills:
[skill]Anthem of Weariness[/skill] [skill]Anthem of Flame[/skill] [skill]Burning Shield[/skill] [skill]Glowing Signet[/skill] [skill]Blazing Spear[/skill] [skill]Barbed Spear[/skill] [skill]Maiming Spear[/skill] [skill]Harrier's Toss[/skill] [skill]Stunning Strike[/skill]
[skill]Armor of Sanctity[/skill] [skill]Aura of Thorns[/skill] [skill]Veil of Thorns[/skill] [skill]Reap Impurities[/skill] [skill]Victorious Sweep[/skill]

You can't use scythe and spear attacks at the same time. Plus, its a huge energy burden on paras to have to run a ton of energy skills on only 2 pips, even with leadership.

I wasnt takling about scythe attacks, i meant dervish melee skills. Sorry, i worded it wrong.
So, looking back through, i do realize that i forgot to consider the energy issue. So, forget about some of the other skills.
[skill]Leader's Comfort[/skill] [skill]Anthem of Flame[/skill] [skill]Glowing Signet[/skill] [skill]Blazing Spear[/skill] [skill]Barbed Spear[/skill] [skill]Stunning Strike[/skill]
[skill]Armor of Sanctity[/skill] [skill]Vital Boon[/skill]

/ick This still doesnt look right, but i tried. I think ill take warrior as my secondary instead.
how about this?
[skill]Harrier's Toss[/skill] [skill]Blazing Spear[/skill] [skill]Barbed Spear[/skill] [skill]Watch Yourself![/skill] [skill]Soldier's Strike[/skill] [skill]Drunken Blow[/skill] [skill]Stunning Strike[/skill] [skill]Leader's Comfort[/skill]

Warrior would be better for the synergy with shouts. /D doesn't offer much to a 2pip energy profession.

untrue. all you have to do is weapon swap to take advantage of the other skills on the bar. but this doesnt mean its easy to chain said skills.
back in the day i ran a ranger using bow attacks, and sword attacks flag running in gvg.. this is all i can remember from is atm... [apply poison][hamstring][savage shot][storm chaser]

not a bad idea.. if you must be a p/d, you can try using ebon dust aura, or vow of strength.

Backbreaker sin :[backbreaker][flail][falling spider][twisting fangs][falling lotus][blades of steel][Death's charge]
Steelfang Hammer [Backbreaker][Crushing Blow][Steelfang Slash][Flail][Rush][For Great Justice]

Luminarus
Steelfang Hammer got nerfed, FGJ changed & Steel Fang got a recharge.
Also, spears arent melee attacks so using those attacks from the tactics line doesnt work either.
Also, you are a PVE Paragon, where is [Theres Nothing To Fear], it should be stapled to every PVe Paragon bar, even if you're not going /W for [Save Yourselves]
