For the last couple weeks, I have been giving away free max damage, 9req weapons to low level players in Ascalon City. After farming, I make it a point to save at least 10 items to help newer members of the game I've enjoyed for little over a year. The only catch is that they find me and open a trade window without sending a party invitation.

Not more than an hour ago, I started handing out free bows to newbie Rangers. While most of the recipients were amiable, one particular player somehow took offense to my generous offerings:

This was our entire conversation, by the way. Nothing came before or after the text you see. I've never heard of someone complaining about the absence of a trade.

cant see the picture.

But I'm guessing that someone was complaining that they had to do something to get something for free.

People these days want everything handed to them on a plate, even free things.

If it's not that, i don't understand as the picture isnt working ( for me anyway)

EDIT: can see the picture, and to be honest, they just look like a retard. Just dont respond with anything too witty as it will go straight over there head.

QFT. You'll find stupid people like such in EVERY online game, it doesn't matter if it's Half-Life 2 Deathmatch or WoW, you'll find one eventually. Just laugh at them because they're acting so dumb, and dumb people make for good entertainment.

slide and let it go, really, that's just basicly it!

i tried to give away a perfect modded recurve bow for a ranger and the first 20 replies i got were people with " people know me " titles on display saying they were new and poor. . . . binned the bow! i didn't even want the 125 gold from merch.

so far for helping people.
