Any information on the "unannounced" Mallyx update?

What is this fuzz about the Mallyx update?

Earlier we used to bring the following setup:

No weapons
Ursan Strike Only
No Enchantments

This used to bring down Mallyx fast, like 60 seconds or less...



Went down to Mallyx this evening, got my ass busted pretty bad... (three times as well, I might add)

He teleported the party around wildly, even put us outside the door, in the first room with the High Priest...

Didn't seem to have any effect with the No weapons/Ursan Strike Only/No Enchantments setup.

Also there were a bunch of margonites running around and a couple of spheres poped up at the room entrance. Never seen the spheres before and I'm not quite sure about the margos either.

Never had time to check before, Mallyx used to go down so fast

Seemed to be some enviromental effects as well. Coming from the spheres?

I'm at loss here, anyone got some info on how to beat this guy or the update in general?

Sounds like it has been for a couple of months. The environmental effect has been there, he has been teleporting people around, even using no weapons, no enchantments and only skill 1. Margo's have been there too, don't remember sphere's but always had that big monkey blocking the view of everything. Could be just bad luck, or more likely an idiot in the pug who doesn't know what only skill 1 means for ursan.

Well, as I said I'm not entirely sure about that Margo/Sphere thingy... It could have been just me missing it earlier

The PUG on the other hand is an whole other thing. The party was all guild members with ventrilo voice communication, all experienced with beating mallyx. We were all in agreement on how to execute it, but still it went south...

Had some conversations in the main chat as well, more players agree to that there is something weird going on...

What mallyx is working like it should be? This is ridiculous!

Idk killed him in like 30 with no death just today.
