If you're not going for survivor title take it slow and make sure kilroy's shout is always up, when kilroy dies and summits are around him drag them back so he can resurrect and run back to him (you may get KO during that).
When KO'ed spam the STAND UP! skill with mouse button and the 8 key on keyboard at the same time to gain energy faster. When I was still learning it in HM sometimes even had up to 80 energy and still finished. Also I think armor doesn't matter during fronis.
It's a matter of practice

Rember to save Uppercut for an instant kill. It deals 80 damage, and everything but the bosses, ettins, and wolves has 80 health. If saved properly it can be used for an instant 200 heal and a quick kill. Also, use 15(-5e) daggers. It'll give you an extra KO. If you don't know by now, click 8 and hit the number key rapidly to get up in time. Also, in the case where there's rangers, take them down first. BHA will nullify your use of Block.
Also might want to try Furious dagger tang on Thunderfist's for more adrenaline. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm curious to know if it works. If that doesn't work, you may also want to consider a vampiric tang for a little extra healing and damage. Given that their maximum hp is 80, and your should be around 500 or so, 3 life lost on hit can speed things up, and it'll really help with Jab.

Use Furious and Shelter mods on the dagger imo. Save Double Punch and Uppercut for fresh enemies. Don't overaggro.
Barrage
also make sure your hitting what kilroy is hitting to get quick kills

/agree
I found the furious and shelter mods make a difference
Also - pulling mobs can be a life saver
In the room with the rangers and a few wandering melee you can pull 2 or 3 at a time back to the door (only the melees will actually cross the threshold - giving you a way of separating enemies into workable groups)
In the room with the large circle of melee only a few will turn hostile at a time. when they do most will run to the center of the room. Kilroy, of course, will charge in. Go ahead and fight with him till he dies. After that you can pull back just past the threshold, those who run to the center will be outside agro giving you a break if you really need to catch your breath and making sure you are not having to fight more than 2 at a time. Kill two - run forward enough to agro the 2 or so in the middle of the room and run back to the door again. (you do have to watch the ones to your left as they are close enough to agro as soon as they turn hostile. Also, Kilroy will die with this method so you will be doing it solo - his shout however, will last quite some time if you don't die)
The warrior boss at the door can also be pulled away from his 4 guards easily.

thanks for the input guys, I was just trying to keep up with kilroy and that might have been my problem.

I would personally recommend that you assign buttons 9 and 0 to skill 8
That way you can just spam 8 9 0 8 9 0 8 9 0 repeatedly (a finger on each) and you will have no problems standing up even with very high energy.

If you're trying for speed(I was when I did it with my ranger, with only an HP rune), then you're going to get KO'ed quite often. However, taking it slowly and helping Kilroy should keep you alive. And when you have the groups of 4 attacking you, try to have Uppercut charged and hit one with that.
