2 char effigy's both level 28, my whole party is like -60 dp and i am at the end of this mission, how the hell do you kill these things?

Like you kill anything else.
Really, just charge in first to draw out their heavier hitting spells with Prot Spirit on you, then wail on em one at a time.

ONE AT A TIME.
Clear out all the 'minor' enemies first, the Effigies alone are easy to take down, but one mob of charr working with them will have no trouble beating most teams. And for god's sake don't agro the ele boss.

1. I am level 19 dervish/monk
2. one hit for an effigy and i'm dead....slah whole party decimation....were talking holocaust of the part.

2. Restart the dungeon if the DP is that bad.
3. When you restart, clear all the charr mobs in the area (most are off the radar when you're near the effigies - look to their left and right) then pick one effigy to move in on FROM THE SIDE. If you come in from the side it's easy to avoid getting the second one's attention.

Those effigies are a pain first time you meet them. The guy's beat it now, but chew on this:
He says he's L19 - sure, L20 stats due to Journey to the North, but if he's that level then he's not got enough rank for consets and he hasn't been through all the Asura side-quests to get Pain Inverter.
Kamikaze dash up the middle sorted it for me at low level, PI each time since

First time I did it I never even got to see the Effigies - just ran to the boss and killed him dead. After that, I usually clear out all the small mobs to the sides, then pull each effigy separately. Pain Inverter makes it really easy, but so does Cynn, once she hits them with a Meteor Shower.
