This is pretty strange, but I've noticed over a while that things have been magically unlocked for me (Like over 2 years). At first I thought it was bug or something, but it actually happens quite often, like for instance:
1. Everything in Battle Isles was unlocked, even though I did not meet the requirements to unlock anything besides Team Arenas.
2. Most of the armor on my older toons (Before Insignias) magically now have Radiant insignias.
3. Norn Fighting Tournament beaten (I've never beaten Magni).
And other things, which at the moment I cannot remember.
Bugs, Gods, wtf? And it ain't no hacker.

Well the first one seems normal. I don't remember having to unlock them after they updated to have a PvP island.
Second one is normal as well. Old armors were updated to have insignias, you probably just bought a lot of energy sets.

If any of your characters were made prior to the addition of the PvP islands, you automatically have access to them for your entire account

1) Older accounts do not need to unlock the PvP arenas. They implemented the locking after a few months and allowed older accounts to 'keep' the arenas if they had already visited them.
2) Older armor sets were upgraded to insignias, so you probably had a high-e set. Now it has Radiants.
3) Are you sure you never beat Magni? Maybe you did as a test (maybe you read a cookie-cutter build on Guru) and forgot you did that.

Only thing I can imagine for the last one is that you fought Joko instead of Magni, but I think that still requires that you beat Magni in a round first.

Underpants gnomes have hacked your account and helped you along the way so that you can focus on farming Z-keys and such. That way they can take the money you get for selling the keys, sell it to some Chinese gold farmers, and take that money and buy underpants, precious underpants.

The next day, I went up 10 HB ranks (57 -> 47), did 3 missions in HM (Vanq), vanquished an area AND farmed some ecto's.
I didn't even remember anything from the grind, but I sure as hell loved it.
