I'm running a rit primary with three necro heroes doing sabway for vaquishing hm in factions. I was just looking for something a little better than what I have right now:

[nightmare weapon][wielders strike][painful bond][bloodsong][offering of spirit][mend body and soul][spirit light][death pact signet]

and yes, I know that bloodsong is supposed to be inferior compared to vampirism, but I don't think so. bloodsong last longer and hits harder and I need both of those singe OoS and MB&S and SL all rely on having a spirit around.

I'm not looking for reasons why my build sucks or anything like that. just help to keep the damage dealing up there but maybe synergize better with my heroes. unless of course there is already a great additional build for using a primary rit with the typical other three sabway heroes.

so to explain one more time, I'm looking on ways to tweak my build there to work better with sabway and I'm wondering if there is already a good build already out there.

should I just turn myself into a healer and change my N/Rit healer to another minion bomber?

Hate that people call it "sabway", they give him way too much credit for putting a sway n/rt healer with the same ss/mm heroes everyone already used.

But anyway, offensive spirits in PvE = monster fail. ESPECIALLY pain/bloodsong etc. Maybe destruction... if you think you're going to be on a mob for more than 20 seconds... but usually not. That'll save you 2 spots for skills that are actually beneficial. Assuming you have some sort of melee henchmen in your team for nightmare weapon, i'd swap that out with splinter weapon for mass aoe damage. Same with ancestor's rage, i'd swap that out with useless painful bond/bloodsong.

Wielder's strike? why in the world would you use that? unless you're using nightmare weapon on yourself to spear/wand monsters down, which is beyond ridiculous anyways so we know you're not doing that. Try spirit rift, 90+ damage to a bunch of monsters > 50 damage to 1 monster.

Painful Bond is useless with only one Spirit on your bar.

If you want to Spirit Spam use this:

[painful Bond][Summon Spirits][Offering of Spirit][Pain][Bloodsong][Shadowsong][Vampirism][Empty]

or something. >__>

It would be easier to use an [Spirit's Strength] build.

It would be easier to use an [Spirit's Strength] build. I've been thinking a lot about a spirit's strength build. I do have a kick ass golden phoenix blade with a +20% enchant mod on it... hmmm...

I've been using Sabway (and dude, yeah, it's Sabway. You come up with something and we'll all call it Giftway. Oh, and Sab is chick, btw.) and just run the Spirit Spam build. Call a target, set up spirits, and just sort of watch the battle go down.

If you go with Spirit's Strength, I'd suggest using a spear and /P. At least then you'd stay out of the battle, you squishy little Ritualist you.

I've also done: [barrage][splinter weapon][favorable winds][summon spirits][painful bond][pain][bloodsong][vampirism]

If the mobs clump, a quick Splinter Barrage lays the smack, and you can keep Favorable pulled along with Summon Spirits. If mobs spread out, call Painful Bond and let your spirits do the work.

Any ritualist build, especially any ritualist build using channeling, that is not using splinter weapon fails in my eyes. Splinter weapon is just that good. Ancestor's rage is a pretty good cheap damage spell, though it feel awkward at first to use. Protective was kaolai is also a very nice party heal that works great for restoration rits.

use spirits strenght with daggers, or just run barrage, triple shot, splinter weapon, and nightmare weapon.

splinter+ barrage, and Triple+nightmare.

WHERE DO YOU THINK

A barrage/splinter triple/nightmare will work fine. A spirit strengh will also work but puts your squishy self in a place you might not want to be.

honestly, i would just become the healer and take a BHA/interrupter ranger hero. Daze ftw in HM. as a monk, that's generally what i do.

It would be easier to use an [Spirit's Strength] build. Throw in [[Agony] in stead of [[shadowsong].
Last options are: splinter, GDW, rage.

This build kicks ass big time. It can be slow but hero's don't mind.
And it's a lot faster then [[ritual lord]
