Problem getting to prophecies

Well today I just got the platinum edition gw with eotn and proph. I can get to the eotn area but I cant get the quest to go to proph. Can someone direct me in the way of doing this??

Am I missing something? This is only my first week playing GW so it would be a lot of help .

Which continent are you in at the moment?

If you're in Cantha (Start out in Shing Jea Monastery. Fight Afflicted things.) talk to Guardsman Chienpo in Kaineng Center.

If you're in Elona (African-themed. You're a Sunspear.) You have to wait until all of your Istan (the island) primary quests and missions are complete. After you've done Blacktide Den, there will be several quests, after which you'll be assigned "The Time is Night." After this quest is done (which will place you in Consulate Docks mission outpost), go over to Kamadan, Jewel of Istan, and you'll find a quest called 'Terror in Tyria' from Deras Tenderlin. This quest will take you over to Prophecies.

If you're in Tyria (You start out in Ascalon. Charr bomb you and all that.), you're already in Prophecies.

Is the Platinum edition the only version of GW you own? If not, which game(s) do you have?

hes confused because the log in screen says EotN, and not aware hes in Prophecies already.

ya im just confused on it all. I thought I had to talk to someone to get to the proph portion.

This confused me when I began.
When you create a character you get a selection screen.

"Prophecies" - Characters created under this start in Tyria.

"Factions" - Characters created under this start in Cantha.

"Nightfall" - Characters created under this start in Elona.

You cannot create a character in EotN. You go to EotN via Lion's Arch (Tyria), Kamadan (Elona) or Kaineng Center (Cantha) when you are Level 10 or above.

Do you know which campaign you started your character in?

If you ONLY have the Platinum Editon it is likely that you started your character in Prophecies.

If you have the others then perhaps you started it in another Continent.

Can you describe your current location?

Hit "M" and tell us the names of a few of the cities and missions. What name was the town where you started in ? Describe some of the early quests.

I have no doubt, you are in Prophecies campaign. That means u now are a child of Ascalon and travel trough the continent of Tyria.
If u once reach Lions arch, you can go to a place called far shiverpeaks. Thats the EotN-expansion..

When i first played on the game i was a bit when it came to logging in because i had started with factions yet the char select screen had eye of the north backdrop :s

Well, from there you do the storyline. Once you get to the Consulate Docks you can hop over to Prophecies (Tyria the continent). Given that you have Prophecies then, you can also make a character there, just as you made the Nightfall one. Just choose Prophecies instead of Nightfall and bingo! Char's in any campaign must reach lvl 10 I believe to unlock travel to eotn or any other continent. When you do, entering Kamadan (or whatever main city for your native campaign) will pop up a message saying to travel to such and such speak to so and so.
