So I've been farming the hell out of UW lately, and was wondering about drop rates. Which have a higher drop rate, Bone Pit thingies, Chaos Plains thingies, or Aatxes?
I'm asking this because one run I only got three ectos from Chaos Plains, so I decided to go on to bone pits, killed four things (threshers) and got three ectos straight off (I didn't continue, I had to log off). Sometimes I also seem to get tons of ectos from Aatxes and none from anywhere else.
Anyone got any info? Thanks in advance.

Chaos plains probably. More foes and can be farmed quickly.

Aatxe I think have the highest drop rate of ecto (4%) but since they are at the very begining they are over farmed. Since chaos planes is harder to get too some people don't farm it. There are alot more guys and thus more chances of ecto. Same with bonepits, other then clearing groups the bonepits wasn't farmed that much before the perma SF came, so more ecto.
You best bet is to just continue farming the chamber + pits + planes and getting 5-8 ecto per run. Aatxe have the highest drop rate.

The Ecto Drop RATE % changes everyday you dont know if its good or bad but you have to farm it before you can know how the percentage is whether its sucky or good.

Im pretty sure Aataxes have the largest drop rate, but for some reason Mindblade Spectres seem to drop the most out of all of them. I guess just because theres so many of them.

I'm pretty sure the droprate from mindblades is similar to smites (about 2%), you just get more ecto because there's

171 Mindblade specters to kill per run, which percentage-wise means 3-4 ecto, and that seems about right.

The seed rates really fluctuate, usually the drops are really corny and sometimes they're great. What I hate most are the behemoths totally blocking the way to the Chaos Planes and wasting an entrance into UW. It's not so much the money that's a concern, but rather if I'm accumulating too many instance entries and therefore affecting my later drop rates. :\
