I recently upgraded to the factions campaign and I really like the Katana weapons. I have a character that I have been playing the original "prophecies" campaign on and was wondering if these new "factions" weapons will show up in the original campaign or are they just available on the "factions" game. Also, is there a way to transfer items from my "factions" character to my "prophecies" character?? One more thing, do these different campaigns ever overlap i.e. will my original "prophecies" character ever have a chance to enter the "factions" land/campaign?

YES, put your item in storage then change characters and take out of storage with your other character.

YES, there is a quest that you have to get to move between the campaigns.

If you linked your old account to the factions account, then yes to both of your questions. Your storage is shared across all of your characters, so transferring items is simple. And to get your prophecies character to the factions area, you can take a quest from lions arch. Hope this helps.

Great, thanks for the quick responses. There is still one thing I am not sure about...will factions type weapons ever show up as drops in the original game? I really like the look of that katana.

Daggers will not drop in Prophecies areas.

You could get lucky and obtain them as a drop from the Zaishen Chest. It drops anything. Very random though.

You can craft weapons in various locations. The Katana is a craftable weapon in Factions. Find one with stats you want, and go craft none to avoid spending months getting one to drop.

Manzo in Kaineng Center or Honglei Sun in Maatu Keep are your most likely sources. Shichiroji in the Divine Path may be an option as well. No matter which crafter you choose, they need 10 platinum, 40 iron and 6 steel.

You can transfer your character to any campain you own, Katanas will not drop in prophicies, nor will any other factions weapon. Your storage will let you transfer just fine. Assuming you added factiions to your curent account, not making a new one.
