Adding leech signet to the mindblades would kill perma a/e solo u/w.

The base of all the complaints seem to be about the economy and about everyone suddenly farming UW for ecto.

Honestly. So someone else is farming ecto and you're not. Why do you f'ng care? Why do you feel that THEIR style of play should be nerfed when it DOESN'T AFFECT YOU AT ALL?

This is NOT a PvP issue. The monsters in UW do not complain about this on internet message boards. This isn't an example of abuse of a skill to have an advantage in a tournament. This basically comes down to "I don't think they should have nice things. Change it because it's not fair to me."

I'm enjoying my obsidian armor thanks to this farm. Do I care if everyone else is getting it too? Nope. Not at all. I could give a shit about whose pixels are prettier than whose. I farmed the ecto because I wanted it for myself, not so I could stand in town and be an internet badass.

You could be surprised, a lot of worthwhile zone have counter to ShadowForm.

Well you see... there are a small population of GW players that have lots of these little pinkish balls. Sure their value fluctuates, but when it drops significantly, we are at a large loss. It is not about silly FoW armour, however a drop in our economy (ie: lower value for higher-end items, when the ecto : cash ratio does not change to keep up with ecto value).

An example timeline to help give your simple mind a rough idea...

-Sword sells for 100e, or 500k.
-A Skill nerf allows simple farming of Ecto.
-Sword still valued at 100e, however if ecto is sold, sword valued at lets say, 400k.

Funny how 1k here and there can add up to a substantial loss.

Geez, eventually there's gonna be more SF QQ posts than Ursan. Why can't we bring up the ursan arguments, because in case u guys haven't realized...Ursan still= pure pwnage, and what has A-net done to it after over a year in the game? Virtually nothing. So stop the SF bitching, use another farm build if you want, just because you have [Shadow form] doesn't mean you have to use it.

What would the other fixes be? Nerfing everything else that's able to farm UW, as well?

But umm the thing is, anet never said "hay guise, you shuld use ectos as a 2nd form of currency" Just because you decided to invest money in something other then pure cash doesn't mean we anet needs to bow to you.

Who cares about people with stacks and stacks of ectos. Inflation ftl, spend your money.
