I've been playing for a while, and while I haven't played my paragon much, it shocks me that there are very few viable builds for solo farming with the paragon. It seems like similar principles to a warrior build ought to be applicable, but I haven't seen any fleshed out. Outside of the FoW "Paratrooper" on pvxwiki, do you know of any viable solo paragon farming builds? I've checked a couple other fansites to no avail. Is the difficulty due to shouts normally only focusing on one ally?

In short, yeah. Not only is it unsurprising things balanced for 8 players aren't so amazing on one, your leadership attribute is also worthless.

There's all sorts of ways to farm on a paragon probably (treat it like a war), but none of them are remotely optimal.

The FoW paratrooper isn't bad, but there's easier ways to farm FoW.

The paragon is uber in teams, but in solo situations, not so much.

e.g. http://youtube.com/user/finnlame

If you look hard you will find them, but unless its the challenge your after, your better off doing A/E UW solo or somthing.

Hmm, since we're on the topic:
Anyone know methods of Raptor farming with a paragon? I've seen it done, but don't know how to do it.

Why are you so hell bent on making things so difficult for yourself...

Para's derive their power from proximity of allies
Solo farming has no allies at all, let alone in range
=
Para's are the absolute worst class when it comes to solo farming

I'm suuuuuure it 'can' be done but do you really want to be bothered with it?

Come to the dark side. Roll a Sin.

Come to the dark side. Roll a Sin. I use to use a sin, and that was before this new fad of shadow form came into play.
Some people have their own reasons for playing a paragon
