First, sorry if there is a topic up like this one already. I tried search but didn't find one.

When, in your gameplay, does Guild Wars make you go "Hell yeah...!"?
That is to say, what are some of your favorite moments in Guild Wars?

For me, it's basically whenever I interrupt something with my ranger. Not interrupting something like Aegis, which takes two days to activate, or anything I interrupt by luck. When I anticipate someone using a fast activating skill and actually interrupt it. (Distracting Shot <3 Word of Healing)

[Mark of Pain] + [Assassin's Promise] Bomber, plus an MM.

Nothing quite like seeing a mob of 15 level 28s disappear in 5 seconds.

When a guild member and I 55/SS'd the Scar Eater. I know it's nothing special in the least, but while we were talking about who we wanted to try farming (as we had just then made our set ups) another member repeatedly told us that we were wasting our time. He said that 55/SS'ing the Scar Eater was impossible and said a few other choice words. Not only did we kill the Scar Eater on our first try, but we got his green. Again, I know this is nothing special, but I loved making that certain guild member look like a moron, because he was. Note: this was a long time ago, back when Factions had first come out (and the Scar Eater green was actually worth something).

Also interrupting anything on my Mesmer. I can hit anything I want as a Ranger, I can predict the AI well enough to get 1/4 second cast time spells, but on my Mesmer I can't get crap.

Getting Diversion on Word of Healing and then watching that monk wither away slowly. I also love it when people (of any class) yell "I #@&% hate diversion!" at me.

Or beating them on UW with randomway. (Albeit a semi-organised randomway).

PvP moments;
a) Being textually-abused in RA about "not surviving 1v1", inviting abuser to gh, beating 1v1.
b) Fow chaos tormented shield warriors in AB attacking through insidious parasite
c) Rspiking ghostly on courtyard from upper-level with longbows
d) Long fights between balanced builds that end in a pleasant exchange of compliments rather than abuse
e) Running leach sig/hammer bash/dshot on an RA monk and it actually coming in useful. Hilarity generally inevitable =).
f) Playing "Monopoly" in the Vault. (/roll 12 in turn, each tile is a square. Race!)
g) Ritspike / Golemway / Mystic Sandstorm spike in AB, and hitting a ball of targets with rift or sandstorm.

PvE moments;
a) Getting r3 survivor (in an outpost, and seeing your name)
b) Title spiking in an outpost / in general
c) Epic drops
d) Clearing UW/FoW with friends in a good time (for us xD)
e) Vanquishing a zone pre-ursan with a hero tank ^_^
f) Rushing through a new campaign without knowing anything about what's going to come up. Getting to the end early is definitely a "Hell yeah!" moment, esp when you can sell end game greens for stupid-o-gold.

Interesting thread =)

Playing my Mesmer in AB, using Rend Enchantments on Dervs, Sins, and Eles, and watching them die quick painful deaths. Arcane Echo + Ineptitude on a sin or warrior.
And yeah, interrupting a fast skill. I can't even claim to be good at it--I rely on things that increase foes' cast times, and then interrupt.

Getting a shard or an ecto or a gold or a gem. I STILL get fuzzy when they drop.

Haha, same here -- but I'm getting used to prediction on PvE enemies on my Mes now.

Selling all my ectos from farming and realizing I was richer than I'd ever been before O.o
Also, whenever one drops for me, I write "ectoSpAsM!!!" in AC. They must love me >.>

What really gave me a tingly feeling was doing any of the elite stuff for the first time when GW was new and everyone was a noob, UW and FoW were mysterious places that noone knew details about, I remember walking into Grenth's judgement room and just being exstatic.

Hitting something with Power Block, and seeing the foe not cast anything else until it dies.

Pulling ToPK or Urgoz. I love pulling. Combined with my love for Mark of Pain/Barbs and the numbers they bring to my screen.

The fights in Shing Jea, GToB, Gunnar's Hold... hours of entertainment.

Ecto drops.

Cape changes from HiDE leader, the laughter from people on vent and the whining that ensues in guild chat. Priceless. Means everything's normal... as normal as HiDE can be .

While in pvp....
When I go anti-caster on my mesmer...Boy the casters love me powerblocking them
Beating fire eles with an air/water build. That makes me fuzzy inside ^^.
Also killing anything w/ fow and/or chaos gloves makes me feel really fuzzy >)

On the pve side, pretty much finishing anything in HM
-Uber drops that piss everyone else off
-Helping out new people
-Proving people wrong when they try to boss me around
