PVP skill instead of PVE?

Hope someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong here. I made my first Sin (roleplaying) and somehow ended up with Shadow Form(E) PVP in my skills instead of the PVE skill. I have tried capping and it wont let me (says known skill).
I tried using an Elite Tome, that didnt work either. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Are you in a PvP outpost? That's all I can think of.

Also, I HATE SHADOW FORM.

Some skills have different versions of them for PvP and PvE. If you're in a PvP outpost, they automatically give you the PvP version of the skill. Enter a normal PvE area and you get your PvE version.

Shadow Form is one of those skills that has different versions.

I hope you're not writing this while your Assassin sits in your GH.

If it's not obvious, the reason he's saying this is because your GH is considered a PVP area, so skills with different versions for PVE and PVP will show the PVP version when in your GH.

Thanks for the replies....I did'nt realize a GH was considered PVP. My bad...that answers the question!

Any area that has that PvP Icon in the top left corner is PvP.
A GH is a PvP area because that is where GvGs are held.
