Like the title said: Where's the SF nerf staying?
The whole economy collapsed in 2 days...[except for runes then ><]
Anet is planning on nerfing, I know, but can't it go any faster?
It ain't fun anymore

I hope it comes together with the update from the bonus weekend of EOTN.
Leave your own remark about the SF thingy too though ^^

a few month's ago, ecto's were also 4.5k @ trader
difference now is that shards are more expensive (around 2k, dunno exactly) and that runes are more expensive

If you don't like SF, just don't use it.

Dumb as these SF threads are, no-one really cares that it "makes the game too easy." They care that it "makes the ectos I invested in too cheap."

Stop beeing selfish just because you got a whole stack of ectos and dont want it to devalue. Let us, normal people, have our ectos too so that we can buy obsidian armor (not the chaos gloves, wich are ridiculously ugly, seriously, i should call the fashion police on you). If you dont know where to spend yours "stakx" of ectos give them to the people who know how to spend them.

Im tired of all this "dont make me poor k thxs lulz" thing.

Here are some news flash kid: Guild Wars 2 is coming and you cant transfer your ectos to it! So what are you going to do it with them when it comes you?
We aleady saw how ridiculous some can be when they announced that you couldnt tranfer gold/crafting materials to GW2. We had a whole lot of "make us tranfer ectos plz" "brilliant" "IDEAS".

You've probably read this in the Developer Updates - Skill Balance Changes - 18th June 08 thread:

two things

1. yea im thinkin bannable

2. i whipped up a sin in like 2 days ascended and all just to farm some quick ectos. there dropping in value!! oh well!!! life will go on. the economy in GW is in its state because this game has been out for quite a while. everything has been gotten the traders got all they need and then some of everything. ECTO's will NEVER reclaim there former glory. neither will vigor Ab's sup monk all that. it is what it is!!! thats all.

Yay, another Shadow Form thread.

Guess one can say that Anet will probably nerf Shadow Form on the same day that Ursan Blessing gets nerfed. In other words: That might take some time.

This so called economy was messed up even before the SF buff, this is just a kick while it's already down..

Anyways just give it some time, soon SF will be nerfed, the favor will be back to normal and everybody will have used up their UW scrolls, and every thing returns back to normal, and tons of people will make threads about it.

To make it less farm-friendly, but still PvE-friendly, they could greatly increase the HP you are left after the enchantment, but decreasing the time it lasts.

Stop beeing selfish just because you got a whole stack of ectos SF farming and don't want to stop accumulating ectos. Let us, normal people (non Perma-SF farmers), have a fighting chance at getting ectos using a real build.

Don't blame it all on SF alone. Maybe if people didnt trade their piles of ectos for Zkeys (which PvP players likely just sell to the merch later unlike PvE players who hoard piles and piles of things) then the ecto price wouldnt be dropping so much. 3 years of ectos built up vs limited due to effort required and newer to the market Zkeys, we see which way the value is tilting.

Because Lockpicks aren't a widely used trading medium. How often do you see in town "WTB Mini Koss, 15 Lockpicks". People use "100k + x Ecto" all the time, every once in a while I used to see people use Armbraces, until those got duped into submission, and every once in a while, people use ZKeys, but Ectos are far and above the most widely accepted trading medium outside of gold.

If Anet was smart, they'd make some item that costs 100k to buy and sell at a Merchant that cannot be dropped by monsters or attained in any other way than purchase at a Merchant or special NPC. Just make an uber-expensive trading medium. It doesn't even have to be 100k, it could just be tiered in increments of 10k. It could be like, Copper-encrusted Statue, Bronze..., Silver... ,Gold.... ,Diamond..., Platinum... whatever.
