Running 2 GW Clients at once

I seriously need to get off my butt and write a guide for this...
Anyhoo, assuming you have Guild Wars installed at C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\ you need to make a new folder - anywhere - but for ease of reference, let's say C:\Program Files\GW2\
All you need to do is copy two files - gw.exe and gw.dat - from the original GW folder to the new one you just made. Now, when you run gwx2, just tell it where the two gw.exe files are and off you go.
Please note that every time there is an update you will have to copy gw.exe from the original folder to the new one again.

The gwx2_4.1.zip form www.gwx2.co.nr isn't password protected. Maybe your pc is asking for the administrator password in order to carry out that file deletion.

It's more likely your friend got caught transferring gold between his two accounts. This isn't against the EULA, but it flags up as suspicious on ANet's end - major gold transactions with nothing in return usually means RMT. A few people have had this happen and a few panicky support tickets sorted it all out.
Look at it this way. My son plays GW at the same time as me via the same router. What's the difference between that and two clients running from my computer?

Thanks.
