Few questions

I'm a returning player after about 3 years. I actually bought the original GW on 6/16/05 (whoa) and found it while cleaning up. I'm really digging it... a HUGE break for me from WoW and AoC. Looks fantastic and runs at 60fps w/ everything on @1440

Anyway, I still had some old toons out there, a 8 w/n and 6 e/w (no clue what I was doing). I've created a new necro and thus far am digging it.

My question is -- can items be transfered between old characters and the new ones, assuming they are all past pre-searing? Also, I've got several black dyes and a few of the "pets" (for having a 3year old acct?) -- these can be moved and/or sold? I hear they are worth a little coin, and I'm sure it would come in handy as a newbie.


I'm going to go pick up all the expansions tonight also, woo!

yes, you have one universal bank for ALL your characters, just drop off the items you want to keep into the bank (xunlai chest) (minis and black dyes are worth alot) and then you can log into any other or future characters and take it into thier invintory.

since you are coming back after three years, im assuming you have 6 Bday presents, 2 1st year, 2 2nd, and 3 third.

You can sell unopened presents for quite a bit, but you can open them yourself and sell them as actual pets (maybe even keep one if you like it enough!). To offer pet pricing, id need to know which pets you obtained.

Black dyes offer quite a bit of coin, current trader price is 8.5k so you could sell it at any price under that and find a buyer.

Just pay 50g to a Xunlai Agent to open a storage account on each character, and items in the storage can be seen on any character.

Since you have 2 third b-day presents, you can make a small fortune rather quick by either selling them unopened or opening them and get a pet (who knows, you might get teh super reare leet pet ) If you don't like the pet try sell it for a decent price. We have a great Price Check section here at the forums.

Thanks for the heads up guys Just got back -- installing nightfall at the moment.

I'll see what I can get for the pets, I had already opened the package (doh!) but at least someone may want them.

I must say, GW has sooooo much better content and story line than AoC or WoW. I regret not coming back earlier
