Please fix Order of the Vampire.

Likely an old topic, but needs some attention.

In essence, there are four Orders spells. Order of Apostasy, Order of Pain, Order of the Vampire and Dark Fury.

Now, we can probably all agree that Arenanet was justified in nerfing stacking OoP and OoV. (Why they can't figure out the same with SoO and the Conjures is a different story...) However, I must take objection to how it was done.

The way the game designers nerfed Order of the Vampire made Order of Pain a stronger spell than its elite counterpart, simply because it could stack with OoA and (much more importantly) DF. Order of the Vampire is no longer much run by sensible PvE teams, because sensible PvE teams use adrenaline, and if you have an Orders character on that team you definitely want to use Dark Fury.

I respectfully request that the skill balancing addresses this problem. I believe it would be justified addressing it both for PvP and for PvE. The easiest option would be OoP and OoV simply not stacking with each other. A more elegant solution might be possible. As a side note, there are other N enchantments than just Orders.

Kindly, Thomas

PvP maybe, as i can see your point as it could possible be abused.

However PvE is fine as it is, it doesn't need nerfing.

Off topic - it's Friday morning where is our god damn skill update.

/signed for making OoV a decent option again

on a side note I'd also like to see OoV casting time reduced but that's just a personal thing

What if they let them stack again in PvE? Or would that be Madness?

PvE definitely needs nerfing. It was fun up until NF. As far as I'm concerned, OoP needs to be nerfed both places.

You clearly misunderstand me. I was not arguing for a nerf, I was arguing for a modification of the original nerf in order to make OoV what it should be, namely an ELITE version of OoP (and not just a gimmick that is far less versatile.)

I miss OoV, was one of my favorite Necro skills.

I'd love to see OoV be able to stack with other enchants (minus of course OoP).

/Signed, OoV needs a buff, no reason to waste an elite on it in its current form.

I've never liked the nerf, it would have better just to say, "This enchantment ends on allies with the skill, "I will Avenge You!"

I don't see the problem with it being a viable elite in PvE, blood magic needs a buff. But in PvP, I'd say leave it. It's just going to create a gimmick.

Your melee would be dealing an extra 34 damage per hit, while stealing 17 health per hit (assuming your necro has 16 blood magic). I'd say that would be overpowered, but it doesn't seem like ANet cares about a balanced PvE.

I dont think we will ever see it back to its old form, especially now with splinter barrage producing already a huge amount of DPS, a lot more than the old Tombs BP teams can ever come up with. I agree though a buff in PvE is warranted.
