I've experienced freezing issues while playing Guild Wars. I've tried playing several other games (Oblivion, Unreal Tournament, Gunz) and they have ran fine. When I'm playing Guild Wars about every five minutes it will freeze for about 20-40 seconds. It goes to a black screen for a few seconds then pops back into play.
I've tried the graphics card in my friends computer and it resulted in the same problem. Guild Wars does not freeze when he uses his graphics card (nVidia GeForce 8600 , 512 MB) It only freezes when playing Guild Wars on my graphics card (ATI Radeon HD 3650 , 256 MB).

Well, since the other games work no problem with the GFX card, the only thing I could pin it on is the network connection. It may be lag spiking every few minutes.
Do you play any other online games? Do you see any lag in them? Also, are you on a wired or wireless connection?

It is definitely not a network issue, because I play several other online games on this computer. I also hooked up my friends computer to my network and tried guild wars and it ran fine with his graphics card. I am not on wireless.

Hmm...yeah, that was kind of longshot for it to be that sort of problem.
It has to be something in GW that your graphics card doesn't like. Try the diagnostic feature in GW and see if that turns up anything, if you haven't already.
As for me, I'm going to bed.

Yeah I have tried changing all the options in guild wars and I've tried autodetect options. I've also tried upgrading drivers, downgrading drivers, and using the drivers from the CD. Nothing works.
edit;
It's a brand new computer and it is not overheating. I haven't successfully ran guild wars yet using the graphics card. I did try with integrated and it works without freezing.

sorry to say it may be a bad gpu. will it run 3dmark06? It is a free program that will test and score your system. I also suggest using everest ultimate to take a peak at the gpu temps, could be the fan is not running up to speed. This may also be a corrupted .dat file. or you need to look into the vid card drivers.

Agreed with zamial. Although that seems a little out there, since it'll play other games. Try running a benchmark. If it hiccups there, that's the problem.
Do it freeze in one particular place in the game?

Could it be that the graphic card is too good? The ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series is a semi new line of graphics card is it not?
Guild Wars is a few years old now as well...
Maybe this graphics card is meant to play games from the last year or two?
