How do I do it? I've built computers before, but I'm not quite sure where to put it on a video card. Never had the need to. I'll be purchasing an ATI Radeon 4850, and I've read that putting Arctic paste will drop the temperature by 20C.
EDIT: Actually, I might not have to know, since I think I might get the 9800gtx. I just read about the 9800gtx+ that's supposed to be priced at $230, and the 9800gtx to be priced at $200, taking effect next week. It's still iffish, because of the 9800gtx's massive size.
Installing Thermal Paste?

You have to fully remove the card's heatsink, just like you do with a CPU and it's heatsink, however you're dealing with a GPU and a different heatsink in this situation.
It's basically the same, except you apply the paste proportional to the size of the area. I'd just say be careful to not get any paste everywhere and stuff, don't want to shoot the card.

Ah, dangit. I hate doing stuff like that...I always get scared I'll screw something up. I almost did the last time I was installing a processor...ty tho
