personally i have never cried over a game however in a old guild someone cried because the old guild leader has been diagnosed with heart cancer and has been given 3 months to live. Dunno how long the guy had known the old guild leader but it was enough to make him cry

The only time I was "about" to cry was when I was constantly making and deleting pvp chars at midnite...And this is when I was sleepy: I delete my ranger wit 3 elite armors and 2 torm weapons....

Back to grinding again...

If you cry over a video game, you need to stop playing and get outside more.

Shouting over the vent / team speaks is not going to make another player play better or make your team win.

In my experience, leader, the caller, the voice over the vent / team speaks if come out soothing , calmly, the group usually wins and vice versa.

lastly its not worth crying over if on the other end of vent is a dick shouting :P~

this is probably just me, but never never get too personal with people you meet online, lol, you never know who they turn out too be (but I am paranoid, so...)

Personally, I don't cry over anything that is internet related. If someone yells at me on vent, I'll either ignore it or yell back. If someone starts cussing at me in game, I'll just lol at them. People have attempted to attack my family and me personally, and it didn't affect me at all. After all, they're only idiots on the internet.

So no, no one has ever made me cry on Guild Wars. I'm going to have to agree with Fenix here, if you cry over a video game (including what morons say to you in the game), unless it's a very personal subject (someone close that recently died, a serious, life affecting drug addiction, etc.), you need to stop playing and go out.

Have to disagree with this statement, it only promotes poor sportsmanship. While there’s not much that can be done to curb this behavior it falls to the other players be it guild members or some one else who needs to step in and intervene and discourage this type of behavior. It’s lead by example or don’t lead at all. Poor sportsmanship is getting worse and it ruins the integrity of any competitive game.
Sadly, it's true. Every competitive game is going to have people who rage after losing. Getting raged at by others is just something that comes with competitive games. If you can't take people raging at you, you shouldn't be playing competitive games, because it's going to happen, and you can't stop it.

Did I make someone cry on on Guild Wars?
Could be, but not because I was yelling at them.
Never done that, I'm more the kind of person who asks 'please explain what went wrong and don't point fingers'. It's a team game, no individual failure.
Did others make me cry on Guild Wars? A couple of times.
Not because they yelled at me, I can handle that.
But I did and do have some very personal talks with (ex)guildies once in a while. Sometimes the situation they are in just hits me and makes me cry.
Same when I decided I would split my previous guild and I knew some members who I consider (online) friends would not be rejoining the new guild I made.
Guess that's just me being me, I would cry on those kind of things in 'real life'.

cry no..

very sad, yes.. but not caused from other ppl, rather my own stupid mistakes..

Salvage rune forgot the armor can break.. merch some greens... trade for stuff only to realize I payed too much..

got scammed for my whole money in GW when I was a newbie..(run to drok, 2k,got it, the guy left. GW is my 1st Online games, so was really upset that some ppl can do that...)

well abt that... but cry? no.. unless maybe req 8 eternal blade drop in front of my sleepy head... I will froze.. and then cry haha

There are people that are saying that yelling doesn't do anything. The hell it doesn't. When someone rages, everyone better listen up, because that rage is happening for a reason. Again, disrespect is not constructive but rage can be.

Take it from someone who was severly addicted to this game and WoW about 2 years ago, it's time to take a break, when people start caring so much about a game that they "rage" and insult anyone whenever they feel bad (in your case, a gvg loss), then they are the real losers and it's time for them to take a break. Your friend might have cryed but he's the real one hurting in the picture.
