Hi, I'm just wondering - why does pressing any key on my keyboard turn my computer on from being off? When I say any, I mean any!
Not really a problem, it's just something I'd like to understand why it's happening.
Cheers, Tyla.
A little question...

Cant really help you, i dont have the "any" key on my keyboard.
Your PC is not off when this happens, its in sleep mode. Hitting anyting on your Kboard will turn it back on.

You probably left your computer on for a while without touching it and it goes to sleep mode, pressing any keys or moving the mouse is cause the computer to come back from sleep.

Well that's dodgy, because I've been turning it off manually for ages and haven't left it on for a long time on it's own.
It's not been in sleep, because the computer comes on from how it usually comes on normally. And the light at the on switch on the tower isn't on.

power options in the bios. depending on motherboard you need to restart the comp, then push a key to get into the setup. I have a nvidia 780i my key is delete, it could also be f8 or f12 typically.
