Are Consets A Good Money Maker?

I have around 750 skill points and nothing to use them on, and was thinking of making a load of consets & selling them on.

Is this a good way to make money? Apparently they sell for around 7k each or something, and to make them costs nowhere near that.

Are they easy to sell etc?

Yes, they do cost near 7k to make. You are forgetting about the 250 iron, dust, feathers, etc you have to use per con. Cons are a good gold sink.... not a money maker.

10 Iron = 100g?

So thats 1k in Iron? Bones and Dust are plentiful, you can score a lot in KC, and Feathers I have no idea...

Going purely from the traders....

10 iron is 230g at the moment. So, 100 would be 2k300
10 bones are 100g. So 50 bones would be 500g
10 feathers are 380g. So 50 feathers would be 1k900
10 dust is 180g. So 100dust would be 1k800

So materials alone would be 6k500 from the traders

Then 750 to craft - 7k250.

Now, that's just at the moment, and it assumes you don't already have the materials, but it gives you an idea of the costs.

Feathers are expensive as all getout, and iron is about 22 each right now. Not sure what it all maths out to, but I'm pretty sure traditional farming is better money.

The cost of one set is something between 5.5k and 6.5k, plus the 750 gold. And you must be there quite some hours spamming Kamadan for the materials, and then more hours spamming to sell them.

If you can farm the materials, then yes i'ts worth it.

Consets are only worth crafting to sell if you farm and salvage all your own materials yourself. If you need to buy materials, then it is a huge waste.

Personally, I craft consets for my own FoW clears, and never sell them, that way I don't have to endlessly farm feathers just for consets.

Of course if you salvage all that material then it's almost free, minus the cost of the salvage kit.

i just do the normal farms and get stacks of mats within a 2 or 3 weeks (basically forget about it) and one day your whole invintory on that charatcer will be full of way to much mats

the only problem is the feathers that takes its own farm grrr but whatever then craft all of them then wait to make more consets or sell them right there
made about 130k - all the sal kits and crafting fees and all the time farming feathers and spaming to sell them btw if your lazy then this wouldn't work for you

I'd wait and see if they add something we can use excess skill points on like buying Z keys or something.

If you can get large amounts of the materials needed, then yes. Otherwise, you'd break even or even lose money.
