Hey,

as of Friday I finally got me a new computer, but as I usually do several stuff at the same time, I run GW in windowed mode, so I can switch between programs. But for some reason my gfx card driver errors when I'm in windowed mode, this does not happen when I play full screen.
Now I dont know if its a problem with my driver or maybe issues because of windows vista?
My graphics card is nvidia Geforce 9500M GS, and I'm currently running gw on windows vista premium.
Anyone know what the problem can be? Is it a bug in gw or is there something wrong here?

Help appreciated,

Frantic

What error does it throw up?

Is there an arenanet.txt in your GW folder giving crash details?

It's not the gfx card itself, it's the program that is the driver of my screen itself. Its a full HD screen apperently maybe this is the source of issues?

The issue is in Dutch so its kind of hard to translate in to English for me :s

Plenty of Dutch gurus around, mate. GW seems to be a bit of an obsession in the Netherlands - my old guild was almost taken over by them

Post your screenshot anyway (or paste the Dutch text, whatever). Someone will translate.

A problem has a occured in the program that regulates your screen ( monitor, laptop screen so build-in... ) I think it's got something to do with the anti-aliasing mode in guild wars, or maybe something with the vertical sync option. Its not an error in gw, but an error in windows.

You need to post the exact error from the windows error logs, the details of the error. You should be able to get them from the details button on the error.

in english I was getting a nvldlkm error, with very near that text. if it is that error it is caused by:

unstable over clock, heat,or bios version. In my case it was the bios.

Yep thats the error It mentioned, update my bios version? Don't think it's overclocked, dont think its the bios either, Ill download a program to check the temps, thx.

But then again, this still doesnt explain why it only occurs when im in windowed mode?
