Hello, I am a PvE player with main characters of the profession of monk and warrior. I love them both, I use my other 8 characters to store valuable loot that I got off my monk and warrior during playing. I calculated after my hardcore revision period, around 2-3 weeks after I woudl have fow armour for both of them (*fingers crossed*A/E nerf I hope not).
I have previous experience with PvP, unstructured though. This means RA and AB. I love them both, but it annoyed me with them how terribly unorganised they are.
I have observed HA and GvG teams, those games seem intense, fun and generally what I would love to play guild wars for.
I have been in a primarily AB/FFF Luxon ab guild called [THPK] who used to be a member of the [ANY] alliance who owned cavalon. I am still in this guild and have achieved luxon defender.
Around a few weeks after now, I wish to seek a good PvP guild who are friendly and teach newbies how to PvP. However, I thought of different issues before I actually ask to join a PvP guild.
Questions:
1. Do most PvP guilds reject newbies to pvp, are there many who take on PvE players that teach them effectively?
2. Do all structured PvP guilds have TS/Vent or like VOIP channels?
3. Are they organised as in set times of GvG and maturity?
4. Are they hardcore long-nighters? (I can only play till 8 on most days).
5. Are there many core-British guilds or are they all American guilds?
6. What is being a GvG'er/HA'er like?
7. Would PvP be right for me? (based upon information about my GW career).
Thanks for your time reading and/or answering these questions. I will leave these questions up for around 1 week until I post a thread in the PvP guild recruitment forum (if I decided to go to PvP)
