Ok Hi! im knida new 2 gw (have played at mates) i only have proph BUT am getting the otehr gw's games and was wondering a few things:

wot would best builds be for farming AND can mes solo uw?
allso wot is best 2nd proffesion i know each has its own advantage but i figured there must be a good few people on here that are deadly with mes :P

Mesmers can solo UW. I think The.D0pefish has a thread with a whole lot of builds that can solo farm.

I've also been using a perma-SF Raptor farmer, although it doesn't kill the boss. QQ

You can switch professions later in the game, but I would go with /E for the pure awesomeness in energy management, [[gole]. Either that or the pure awesomeness in damage mitigation in the Necro line, [[enfeebling blood].

They can be used at a minimum spec, and EBlood has a decent duration at 5.

I've never used my mesmer for farming (there are far more effective options), but for normal PvE Tyla gave the best options. If you decide you don't need secondary profession skills then I would suggest you go /Mo for a reusable resurrection spell.

So it's been said I use a Me/E raptor build that can kill Broodmother:

[Mantra of Resolve][Channeling][Signet of Illusions][Stoneflesh Aura][Armor of Earth][Mental Block][Grasping Earth][Sliver Armor]

So yes, mesmers can farm, though maybe not as effectively as other classes.

Ohh nice build ill be sure to give it a go Mental Block ill have 2wait till i get eotn tho xD

But i am gona save for mes fow armor as its the only1 i really like on male mes
