I've been playing for over a year now, and have mainly played warrior and monk, i have had a ranger a paragon and a necro already, but can't decide which one i want to remake, if anyone could give me any help decind i would a preciate it. I'm making this character for beating all the games on NM and HM plus farming, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Ranger is my favourite profession, as i love interrupting casters. Its also an extremely versitile class, you can trap, interrupt, degen or touch your way through the game

Necromacer, particularly SS and MM ones are always popular in a HM group. Im in the process of playing one now focusing on Blood Magic, and im enjoying that quite a bit. Ultimately the choice comes down to personal preference, i think, because all professions have the capability ti achieve what you are looking for

It is really up to you if you want to make up a Paragon. You can always try it out and see if you like it to what ever level. The ball is in your court.

Haven't played Paragon to any extent, but liked it when I did. Ranger's are a blast to play and like Nick Of Troy stated very versatile! Necro's I had two, and still have my first one ever created, love playing.
Of the three though the best one I have ever had the most interest playing was my Necro hands down. Not only are they great for standard PvE, but places like UW, FoW, and 55 solo runs.
Do that would be my choice - Necromancer

Clearing the uw or fow is not farming. And paragons will get old and if you're an imbagon, the game just become wayy too easy. ranger can farm and play a couple of different party roles. the necro can do pretty much everything. support as a n/rt or n/mo, damage with ss + barbs, and play minion master.
+1 for necro

Well in my opinion, I would rather choose Ranger or Paragon...Ranger is nice, because it is always great to bring a Ranger into AB/RA when you get tired of PvE and interrupt/dmg people.
But if you simply wanted to PvE, Necros are wanted more than any of the other two (ranger is almost a tie) because of minion mastery, or SSing...
Paras I will not comment on...because if I do I will say terrible things, as it is not my favorite proffession...I actually really do not like them lol. Mainly they are team buffers, not fun to solo with...they are team buff/attacking mix, and I prefer hot or cold, so..yeah.

BUT if you have factions, I would love to persuade you to get an assassin...my personal favorite proffession, really great in PvE, as endless SF was recently made much easier (kind of sad, really) and there are also moebius spam builds/etc. as far as in PvP, it is the only martial besides dervs that have +4 energy regen, leaving room for nice chains, and with crit strikes amazing energy management and ability to use non-dagger weapons.

Well, I hope you took in my opinion...or at least read this long message.

Cheers,
Ethernet

ill say necro for 2 reasons.

one, you said you want to be able to farm. ranger and paragon are not the most adept farmers...sure they can do it, but not with the same speed and variety of areas that necro can.

two, soul reaping. rocks in pve because you are constantly killing. also, if you take sabway heroes for HM, there are constant minion deaths = infinite energy. makes life very easy and its fun to watch em explode.

You actually should delete your sin/dervish/ritualist and make both a necro and a ranger.

But trapping is sloooooow.

I'd have to throw my vote to Necro, but Ranger, Dervish, Mesmer, or Elementalist are good.. and fun.

just named the most nooby builds out there :P

anywho IMO rangers...they are almost stupidly versatile! as posted above <(ignore builds ^^) they are immense at shutting down targets / running locations / some farming etc...

para are not as good at farming / shutting down targets IMO <<,but provide party wide buffs

necs = good farmers / hex annoyance / minion bombing / <<<just shot my argument in the foot for a ranger ;P

If you must remake one of those, I'd say a female ranger. On the other hand if you just want another class different from warrior/monk, I'd say female mesmer.
I'm basing my choices on looks, but you never said if the dances were more important to you.

Face it, in the end you're gonna be da bear, brah.
