hey, im a total newb to using my A/Me build right now, but im heading past the parts where im up against the obsidian behemoths on my way to the chaos planes, and im trying to re-cast shadowform with my arcane echo or even trying to get the perma SF chain off, and its taking twice as long to cast, because of the behemoths spirits they make.
now, i have no problem maintaining and casting SF normally with my A/E underworld build, but i wanted to try something new with my A/Me build, but it's not working out too well because of this -.-
i dont understand why it takes twice as long with my A/Me build, whereas my A/E has no problem casting spells normally.
am i doing something wrong? or whats going on with this?

Probably just unlucky with the spirits, always make sure to bring dark escape if you are going to chaos planes...simply run past the behemoths, and when you need to use SF or echo, just get out of spirit range and it should work
There are multiple 'pit stop' areas where you can use this, besides that idk why you have trouble only with echo. even with the 2x cast, with the recent update on SF, it doesnt even matter...you have like 10 seconds of spare time -.-

The reason it effects A/Me and not A/E is because in the A/Me build you have arcane echo, an enchantment, which i believe has a 3 second cast time, doubled is 6 seconds, while in the A/E build you use Glyph of Swiftness which is not an enchantment, its a glyph, so it is not doubled.

its just i must've never noticed shadowform taking so long to cast on the run there when i go there, ill check next time to see if it really does take 2 secs to cast on my A/E run through.

alright, that might be whats going on with it, i know that my DP isnt lasting as long as i should have it last, because it's only at 3, so by the time AE casts, it's already gone.

can i cast arcane echo first, then DP and SF?
