installing eye of the north expansion pack

Hello, I have installed Guildwars and Factions, when I went to install the Eye of the north expansion it seemed to install fine but when I went to enter the key it would not let me, it made me create a new account to enter the key into...so does this mean that when playing guildwars I will not have access to eye of the north if I go in under my original user with guildwars and Factions in it? AS it is to use eye of the north I have to enter my new user informaion, Im confused

Well, you can try accesing GW:EN, i mean, did you try that yet?
Go to LA and check if the message pops up. If not, then i'd raise a support ticket. :/

Ouch, yes Debbie, since you did not put in the EoTN code on your original account, you will not be able to access it with your old characters.

But that doesn't really make any sense, since EoTN is just an expansion and needs one of the other games to play. Are you sure you had to put the key in under another account?

Does anyone else know if it's even possible to put an EoTN on a new account with no other games installed? Doesn't seem like it should be possible...
