So I had a account about 4 months ago get terminated for selling gold.
So I buy a cdkey and start playing yesterday today I login and it tells me I am banned for selling gold items for real cash?
When I never did on this account and have just been playing the campaign?
All I did was give 200gp and 500gp for a couple runs in the game.

IP ban perhaps? If the first one got banned on an actual issue then they might have IP banned you. Therefore when you got a new account on the same IP it may have been flagged and banned again after looking back at the prior infraction.

If your account is terminated, you are not allowed to create a new one without express permission, or any subsequent account you create is subject to termination. It's in the ToS, RoC, or EULA somewhere. If ANet or NCSoft finds out a new account is created by the same person as a previous terminated account, then it will be terminated as well.

Because the didnt ban only the account that was selling gold they banned the person.
Edit: I doubt its an ip ban, he probably used the same email or info for the second account.
