afaik You've got a corrupted .dat file, delete it and re-install and everything should be fine. Or live with it, whichever one floats yer boat

Most likely corrupted file... but what if its test for animations for GW2 jump system? Plausible, but more likely to be a corrupted file.

Nope, its a corrupted .dat file. Another funny glitch of this is that the characters standing still will look they were hit by a bus and fly through the air 10 feet and landing like a ragdoll. Quite funny, until Guild Wars stops launching.

You'll need to reinstall the .dat, so I've moved you over to the tech forums! :P

would this also be because of the .dat file?

Possibly getting disconnected while the .dat is being written to? It's one of those annoying things that "just happens" sometimes.

Yep, animations seem to be subject to .dat corruption more so than other areas. It may be and most likely is the structure of the .dat system.

That was rather amusing to watch. (Un)fortunately my .dat file has never been corrupted after three years of play.

This occasionally happens to my character, and any hero/henchman/other people.

Is quite amusing to see what appears to be 8 people shadow stepping from enemy to enemy... For a while >.<.

-re-install-.
