New hacking attempts?

The weirdest thing happened to me in the Underworld today:
Mind you, I would never do something like this, even if I wasn't in the middle of a UW run, because 1) it is stupid, and 2) I remember some speculation on these forums that accounts get hacked through hijacked data packets, specifically the log-on/log-off ones, which was how (people assumed) AB crashes resulted in hacked accounts. Earlier in the run, though, I had received a similar PM from something along the lines of "Game Cam," which urged me to "load into the nearest town to claim the prize." I thought nothing of it at the time - figured someone was having some fun - but now I have to wonder: is this the new hacker "operating procedure," or is someone just targeting me specifically?
EDIT: Just remembered the "no names" policy, but this specific name is part of the scam. I'll post a blacked-out version if a mod requests.

Don't answer obviously and bad grammar makes it a bad attempt to act like a GM which Anet wouldn't do anyways. I would think it's just some new "hacker procedure" regardless don't jeopardize your account safety by doing something a stranger asks!

I think ANet would have better ways of informing players that their account has been breached than by pm'ing them.

Contact support about this. Other then that, it really doesn't deserve a thread. It's a random person with bad grammar telling you to log off. Hopefully the people he PM's are smart enough to figure that out.
