I Have 100 Ectos, Should I...?

Should I sell them all now before the prices go down even further, or wait for a while & hope that the prices increase in the future?

They'll go back up sooner or later. So I'd keep em for now. Favor is going to run out in a day or so, so that should boost prices at least a little bit.

Or of course give them to me so my mesmer can finish her titles.

I miss the days of getting 10K+ for ectos

I'm already planning on turning well over 100k on the updraft from this short period of cheap ectos. No reason it shouldn't be over 300k eh? =P

Clearly, I'm keeping mine. Farmed some, bought some, sell 'em all as soon as they go up.

What you should do, is not horde them and give a few to random people like me .

All joking aside, what you should do is up to you. It's a game so its not like money matters.

Sell half of them and keep the other 50 just in case.

That way you are happy no matter what happens.

The price of ecto's rises when people buy ecto's from the merchant.

And since the price is going down it means that people are still selling more exto's. Seems like people think the 3,5K they get atm is more than enough.

seems the better part of common sense says sit on them until all these factors shake out. namely favor runs out, perma shadow nerf, hopefully z keys mysteriously disappear. seriously, i ramped up a sin for the perma farm and piled up 500 ecto in just over 2 weeks. im good now. seems like a nice hedge against the economy. hopefully they wont bottom out lol. if they do?? well its back to unid golds, runnin, core farmin on hard mode!! what else can ya do right. roll with it.

I've got 42k in my storage - I'll probably buy some ectos and hope to see a return on my investment. I would suggest the OP does the same.

I'd hold on to them. I highly doubt Anet will permanently let them be as easy to obtain as they are now. Too much whining going on, and Anet always caves in to whining from the masses. Then they will go back up, and you'll be happy you kept them. I'm not selling mine because I'm maxed on gold anyway.
