Max Q8 Weapons??

Ok, Im alittle confused by this, In the first few months of when Proph came out, it was possiable to get req 8 weapons with Max damage. In the past few months I'v been hearing that they no longer exist as drops. I was wondering if the rumor is true or are these weapons just extreamly rare these days, and another thing If I happened to have a Purple 15-28 q8 Sundering Stormbow of Enchanting (20/20 ; 20%) how much would it be worth?

They do still drop just alot more rarly than the old days, head over to the price check section for price checks but i can tell you know to salvage the mods from that one.

Un-insribable Golds still drop as max, even down to r7 (so its told)
But they seem to be extreamly rare, and noone have ever got one the latest year (so far i know correct me if im wrong)

But inscriblable golds are the new cap at r9 i believe.

I'm not 100% sure, listen to more people, but the fact say that Core/Tyrian/Cantha still drop r8's which was your question.

yea, not sure of inscribable, but just a few months ago I got a Q8 max gold jade sword. So it's possible

Inscribable R8s exist. Guildie has a blue r8 inscrib command shield, I have a r8 purple curses offhand and another guildie has a r8 gold death offhand. All are max.

They are of course the only ones I've seen myself and I've been playing a looong time ^_^

For the first 1.5 years req.8 max weapons were as common as any other req, for example req.11. Back then req.7s were possible but somewhat rare and not dropping from everything.
After Nightfall release they moved the baseline minimum req for max weapons from 8 to 9, eliminating the req7 max drops and having the req8s replace them - req8s still drop but are as rare as req7s then, and drop in the same circumstances the req7s did back then.

i got a r8 shield somewhere gold max problem is its unmodable and its skeleton skin so its worthless but i think its cool so im keeping it

Yes they do exist and they do drop more often than you might think.

However so far all I've found are blue R8 Max items.



I've actually got more but the shield is the only one inscribed and the sword is just to show that new skins( ie GWEN) drop with R8 max status.

Lots of r8 inscribables gold alhtough i can only recall seeing shields like that. Ancient, darkwing...etc... Have a guildie who got a q8 shield from uw endhcest
