Gothic Defender R9 Max Inscribable?

Is it possible to get a Gothic Defender R9 that is max or inscribable? If so, anyone where they drop? Do they drop from using zkeys? Thanks.

I think the gothic defender and a few other canthan stuff (ornate shield, outcast stuff and echlovald shield come to mind) are the only things that CANT come in inscription. Fell free to post a pic and prove me wrong though .

If there are, they would come from a Z-chest, or an end of dungeon chest, or some such. You won't find them as a drop or from a regular or locked chest in Factions.

Correct, Inscribable versions of a few rare cantha drops doesnt exist.

I had a guy in LA once, a few months ago, Spamming for a WTB REQ9 Gothic Defender INSCR.

I pm'd he saying they do not exist, he claimed to have seen one from a Zashien Chest. I called BS and offered him a large sume of money to produce one.................hes never called back.

they should make inscribable version of gothic defenders drop in gwen or something. how else are we supposed to get max versions? i have lots of ectos but can't even find anyone selling one in any towns.

Outcast, Echovald, Gothic, Bladed shields, as well as other canthan items such as jade axes and such can not be found inscribable. The unofficial wiki says that Gothic Defenders drop from the FoW chest, however, I find this highly doubtful as I have never seen one.

Easier to find a perf inherent req8 than r9 insc, because the later doesn't exist.
And thank gods, good to have some items not screwed up by the inscription bs.

the zchest whould be the only thing possible to drop inscribable items that normal arnt but as for this shield specifically idk if it does

thats whould kill the market even more then it was when a inscription where released

if theyre not making it inscribable, they should at least make it drop in places where ppl actually farm...not in one small area in factions :P

^This is either a prank or a once in a lifetime drop to happen in FoW...
Somebody really needs to confirm whether it drops in FoW. If it doesn't, please clean up that page to prevent further confusion.

The reason why me and many others stopped playing the game.
