Selling Accounts For Other Stuff

Im trying to fill my hall of monuments but i ran outta money, my friend says people sell accounts from other games for guild wars money. If I sold a steam account in guild wars is it legal?

Its not illegal but it is against the EULA, and Anet will most likely ban you if they found out about it.

I have to agree with Meth on that point, also, while I don't know Steam's EULA, it's probably against their's as well.

you shouldnt sell living accounts for a dead game. It's not worth it imo.

well i have a 5 digit steam account with all the fps games but i cant play them anymore the nerves in my arm are messed up i cant aim like i used to . guild wars might be dead but its still better than nothing

You can play guild wars just fine without money, not worth losing your characters over.

Why not farm?

Do a vanq or two, get the reserves up, get a fool-proof build and run. Then make money.

Just keep on farming, if you're that insanely desperate to get your HoM filled you should farm 100k and use it as a basis to start power trading.

finished the mini pet and the weapon ones today. sold all the weapons for hero armor and armor for myself almost done but only 11k left XD hope the hurry up and nerf ursan so i can get decent price for ectos

Nah you should'nt you might get permaban for Gw for that (Ip ban) and then you coudlnt play Gw or Steam

Kidding though, unlikely that Anet is going to nerf anything soon (that's used, they'll probably Nerf random Mesmer skills).

So yea, dungeons, vanq'ing and farming. You can make money without resorting to utterly stupid and self-defeating moves.

Guild Wars is dead? That's news to me.

So, you sell one of your accounts and finally get all the things you need to fill your HoM. Then you get caught and permanently banned: no longer to access that account or receive it's benefits when GW2 rolls around. And you're out of two accounts now.

Then again you just may get away with it. Guess you just gotta ask yourself is the risks worth the rewards.

GW2 isn't going to be here for a good while and GW1 is still going to be around for indefinitely at this point so you still have plenty of time to get whatever you want.

Also, don't think I've seen an account go for more than 100k. I don't really pay attention to local/trade so who knows.
